The Windows 10 Update Assistant has put up the message: "Something went wrong. I don't recall ever installing this app.Īpparently the Windows 10 Update will not run to completion until I can solve this. It's not in the list of installed apps, nor does it show up when I type "Cooliris" in the search bar. Click the ActiveX control you want to delete, and then click More information. Under Show, click Downloaded controls to display all ActiveX controls. Click the Tools button, and then click Manage Add-ons. I cannot find a program on my desktop computer with the name "Cooliris for Windows Explorer". Open Internet Explorer by clicking the Start button, and then clicking Internet Explorer. These programs need to be uninstalled because they aren't compatible with the upgrade." Then there's a the apparenet offending program name: "Cooliris for Internet Explorer". When it was setting up, it stopped with a dialog box with the message that "We couldn't uninstall these apps." It further explains that "You'll need to remove these apps yourself,Īnd then select Refresh. I'm trying to run the Windows 10 Update to get to build 1803.
